Why are there different insoles for different styles of shoes?

Chanir® Red Insoles: Have been designed to support the foot inside a pump-style shoe.

Chanir® Black Insoles: Boots/booties are structurally different from pumps.  In a boot/bootie, the foot is completely contained inside the shoe.  Therefore, to accommodate the instep and the dorsum (where the ankle and the top of the foot meet) this insole has a different width and density. Additionally, we have added activated charcoal for extra odor control and moisture-absorbing purposes, thus the black color of the insole.
